Evangelical Lutheran Church of Black River Falls, Wisconsin is a member of
the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We confess faith
in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We
believe that “the church is a people created by God in
Christ Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent
to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and
sanctifying activity in the world”.

We seek to participate in
God’s mission in the world by gathering regularly for
worship to experience God’s grace through the proclamation
of the Word and receiving new life through the sacraments
of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. Renewed by God’s
Word, we are sent to the world to witness to the gospel
through lives of prayer, praise, thanksgiving, witness, and
service.

Come Share our Joy-through worship, prayer, study, fellowship, and
service. Twice each year, usually in the spring and in the fall,
Evangelical Lutheran formally welcomes new members into our congregation
during worship services. In preparation for this day, we offer new member
classes to anyone who is interested in becoming a member of Evangelical
Lutheran Church. These classes, led by one of the Pastors, will be an
opportunity to learn and share what it means to be a Lutheran Christian,
and will introduce you to the mission and ministry of ELC. For more
