There are many ways to support the various ministries at work here at ELC. Much of the regular weekly monetary donations are placed directly into the ELC General Fund, with those donations used to cover programming expenses, salaries, utilities, etc. When gifts are given to ELC with a specific purpose in mind, those gifts are placed directly into the Gifts & Memorials account. Those funds are further categorized to the exact ministry where they are to be used. These are called Designated Gifts. Some examples of these designated gifts would be Bed Nets, God’s Global Barnyard, Radio Broadcast, VBS, Bible Camps, and so many more individual ministries!! These funds are then distributed out to the specific designee, with council approval, upon request.
